What’s my story?
On the outside, I’ve always come across as the sweet and quiet type—but beneath the surface, there’s always been a darker mind, quietly spinning intense stories and exploring the emotional shadows most people try to avoid. It wasn’t until I read Haunting Adeline that I realised the kinds of stories I wanted to write—twisted, emotional, raw—were not only valid, but sought after. That moment changed everything.
I’ve always been drawn to heavy emotions—trauma, anxiety, obsession, survival—and I pour them into my writing. For me, stories are a way to process the deepest parts of ourselves in a safe space. I want my readers to feel, to relate to, and perhaps even to be empowered to push through whatever they’re facing in their own lives. I write without judgment, and I hope readers approach it in the same way.
I’ve been writing since I was a kid, though back then my stories were often deemed “too dark” for the classroom. I turned to poetry for years, quietly filling pages with words I never shared. It wasn’t until the lockdowns, when I reconnected with my love of reading and discovered the wild world of Kindle, that I decided to just go for it. To publish something. To see what happened.
There was no grand moment—just the quiet surprise that people connected with my writing. And that was enough to keep going.
My stories blend action with deep emotional pull, and while I don’t claim to be unique in loving intense romance or broken characters, I do write from a place of genuine emotion and connection. I put a lot of care into crafting characters who feel alive, each with distinct voices, flaws, and personalities that evolve as the story does.
I write for the emotionally open-minded. The ones who like variety, who aren’t afraid of darker themes, and who value the journey, not just of the characters, but of the writer, too. Mostly, though, I write for myself. It’s my creative release, and I’m endlessly grateful that others find something worth escaping into within my worlds.
I’m based in Victoria, Australia, where I juggle life as an artist, business and property photographer, mum of two wild boys, and manager of my husband’s clothing brand. I write whenever I can squeeze in a moment—usually with a prima donna cat on my lap and a clingy staffy trying to wedge himself in too, while my husband rolls his eyes in amused surrender.
I’m socially awkward but love people. I overshare often, and I’m not ashamed to own every messy, beautiful, and uncomfortable part of my story. Thanks for being here, and welcome to the chaos.
